Hywinkyasali is a unique place combining a concert hall and a meeting hall. Located in the center of Hywinkai, on the edge of the market square, it is an integral part of Sampotalo, an attractive shopping mall. The hall was opened in 1987 and has since earned recognition from the musical and cultural communities.
Inspired by architect Ilpo Raunio, Hyvinkaa Hall delights with its modern design, including white walls and an impressive three-level grandstand. The capacity of the hall is 435 seats, providing comfort and excellent visibility for each guest. An important advantage is the width of the stage opening, which is as much as 20 meters, which allows you to create exciting and unique performances.
Hyvinkaa Hall was inaugurated on November 20, 1987 and has since witnessed unforgettable performances by leading symphony orchestras and talented artists. It was here that the Hywinkya Orchestra, led by Pentti Sistonen, performed Sibelius's 1st Symphony, and Markku Luolayan-Mikkola soloed in Schumann's Cello Concerto. In addition, the director of the music school, Pentti Raitio, presented his composition "Yoldia Arctic", striking in its scope and melodiousness.
